With 15 verbals so far, and Carrie coming back for a 6th year, I'm guessing that there are no more than 3-5 more scholarships left to give this year. This class may be full earlier than most prior classes even got started.

Defensive linemen. Let us find an OHIO style--fine student-athlete--monster or two.

Me thinks after yesterday's game another pass rusher will be added.

A mid-season add--in time for the EMU?! Excellent!

Anyone have a clue on exactly how many more open slots are left? Can't be too many more. I think you guys are right with 3, just wondering if anyone else can verify?

None of us can really know. Several factors play into that:
1. There may be some that have accepted, but which we don't know about, which reduces the number left
2. Some players that have been battling injury, or personal issue may plan to leave after the season, which increases the number
3. The walkon math is always fuzzy because some may get part scholarships, making it appear that more have been issued than have been, or some may have temporary scholarships that they got only because money was available
We can guess, but historically we are never right. Usually they take 1-2 more verbals than we expect.
