3-0, getting top 25 votes, wins over Big 10 and Conference USA foes. The verbals should be rolling in!! Whats the deal?

You can't be expecting a bunch of recruits to be rolling in right now.  I think the big verbals will come after the main set of bye weeks for college teams ends.  Most kids doing well their senior year are waiting for that really great offer and their chance of that happening is during these bye weeks when the college coaching staffs have more time to focus on recruiting and do visits.  If we are still undefeated around that time is when you will see the verbals come in as we show them we are the best candidate over other mid-majors and low to mid tier BCS teams.  Would love to finally get a 4-star recruit to sign with us over the bigger name teams.

and I'm waiting for the day when they realize that the Ohio offer IS that really great offer.

The quiet is over. It looks like we're going to see another burst of verbals. The offense is looking good, but it needs a Running back and probably another WR, and the defense could use another LB and some DB's. After that, it comes down to taking the best available players.

Stellar, pass-rushing destructive defensive ends will also be accepted.

Yep...but to be honest I would prefer to not see another TE for a while. We need defensive backs...and plenty of them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we didn't sign any corners last year.

Playing in the MAC (and heck, in most conferences these days) you need LOTS of DB's. Probably 1/2 of our defensive snaps are taken in the nickel package with five defensive backs. So....MORE DB's PLEASE!!! And make them fast!!!

With continued success I look for big names at the DB and RB positions.....then this class will be A+.

I overheard a recruit being told that all 13 of the current committed players have already met NCAA qualifications so that is good news.

At the game Saturday there were at least 15-20 recruits on the sideline during pre-game warmups.  Someone said most visits didn't start until January.  There were alot there this past weekend!

Visits happen all of the time. Most official visits happen in January.

There's my WR.. Now we need the RB, and some DBs. This class is definitely shaping up as the best yet.
