This may be off base, but I am an Ohio University Alumni who has a 17 yr old son that was invited to OU in the Spring for a football visit. I am not sure why he has not heard anything since to my knowledge. He is very interested in the school overall as a football program and the fact his mother (me) is alumni. We are unfortunately not satisfied with the assistance from the Loveland Coaching staff in assisting with recruiting as well as financially can not afford the professional help of a scout assistant. Any insight into this would be great, even if not for recruit to the Ohio University. He attended the OU camp also at Mason High School. His name is Anthony Johnson, plays for Loveland High School and he is a CB. Here is just one of the great plays he had last year.

JoyJ, Anthony will need to show that he is prepared academically as well. The ACT/SAT score is important. I recommend Anthony investigate several schools at all levels. His first choice might not have a scholarship, Travis Carrie will be keeping his another year. Defensive back is a very, very, very competitive position and the coaches look accross the country, California, Florida, Pa. MD to D. C and at junior colleges for that special student athlete.
