He could be exactly the person we need. With no corners last year, and none yet this year. CB is still the one position I'd like to see added to this year's class.

FWIW, I see that he had offers from 8 other MAC schools (Akron, Ball State, BG, CMU, EMU, Kent State, Toledo, and WM), plus E. Illinois, Georgia State, Old Miss, and Miss, State.

I think it's OLB prospect Hector Stanback: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-H...

He's currently committed to Jackson St. but is still taking official visits. Looks like he has another Twitter handle and on that is wondering whether to go to Syracuse or Ohio for an official visit.

Debating if i should go to Syacuse university for my 3rd official , dem or Ohio University

There weren't many Georgia player on the team, but the Georgia connection is starting to produce. For awhile it was only Ryan Boykin, then they added Tyler Knight, and last year added Toran Davis from Lithonia and Nick Gibbons and Joran Reid from Stone Mountain. This year there are two recruits, Justin Wyatt from Collins Hill High in Suwanee, and Tony Porter from Peachtree High in Suwanee.

I still say a corner is badly needed in this class, with none in last year's class, and none yet in this one, and Monday would definitely fill the bill.

I was reading something the other day about how teams from the mid-west are starting to heavily recruit in Georgia, good to see that Solich and Ohio seem to be in on it early.

Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, and Florida have been the main states lately. I'd like to see them continuing to pull in some strong recruits from Georgia, Oklahoma, and the DC area, too.

Edit, and now Ohio adds a great running back from Georgia, too. Now, for a CB?????

Man I'd love for us to get a solid corner commit. It's the only position I feel uncomfortable about moving forward (even with Carrie staying 100%). Well that, and the field goal kicker (Weller is going to be one tough act to follow).

If it's worth anything, both Monday and Hector re-tweeted a Wyatt mention from a couple days ago (1/22):

I really hope y'all boys pull the trigger on   . I told y'all what life would be up there and what to expect. 👌"

I'm all for going after as many Georgia and Florida recruits as possible.  The speed is just so much better down south compared to the midwest.

Even with no corner in this class, in 2013 corner will be not a problem because you'll have Carrie back, plus all the guys that played this year. Since there weren't any corners last year, if there aren't any this year, either, by 2015-2016 when Fisher, Bass, and Wells are gone, the cupboard will be bare. To prevent that, I would expect that they would take a corner or two from JUCO next year and/or the year after.

Rivals is showing him as a soft verbal to Kent State. Although it lists the commit date as 6/25 which obviously isn't right. In checking his Twitter comments doesn't look like Ohio's in the mix.
