Tre Wilcoxen from Free Safety spot had a mindblowing game last friday in a blowout Loss. Ending up with 28 tackles 20 solo 1 fumble caused and 3 pass defensed.

My buddy went to the game knows a counselor there and said this kid performance was ridiculous. Next day he was at UCLA game on the field.     Also Had 16 tackles in first game.

I am trying to get a link

Does anyone know if he has a scheduled visit yet to Ohio???

28 tackles by a safety is amazing, but not a good sign for the team, because it means the other team is getting by the front seven. Any word on his interest level in Ohio?

I heard that  Ohio is high on his list and always will be because they were one of the first Schools to Offer.

But I also heard he just was offered by a BIG10 school and a Pac12 but those other schools do not show up on his list or other sites yet?

Stats I saw on another site for 6 games :

3 Interceptions

This would seem to be a pretty huge get if he chooses the Bobcats.  After watching that highlight tape, I could see Tre becoming a phenomenal OLB at the next level.  He seems to play close to the line of scrimmage already and certainly has a frame that could take extra weight.  His speed and coverage ability would be a serious asset at OLB.  Already makes a ton of tackles and plays behind the LOS.  It seems like a rather natural transition from watching him play.

I see what you mean about the OLB but I think his ability to read plays from FS plus cover downfield is top notch.

Saw where he had a new highlight for midyear.

The hit on the WR on that deep sideline pass is WOW

With all the spread offenses, outside linebackers end up in coverage a lot more. One answer is to pull an OLB and replace him with a safety in a "nickle" or "dime" package. The other answer is to find a guy that can do it all. I made the same comment a few months ago, and I considered it to be a compliment, that Tre had the ability to be special. I see him in the same kind of roll as Nathan Carpenter. We're just fans, though - Tre should talk with the various coaching staffs that are recruiting him and see how each is planning to use him.

It wOUld be one fine, major cOUp to have a top player from the city of Los Angeles area sign on with OHIO.

Great Point. I agree with you. I think with Ohio being a top 25 team and the college academics I heard are top notch. Might be a good fit. One site says he has a 3.9gpa too!!

As Solich said, if he can get kids to visit, he can do this.
