ESPN is reporting the commitment of safety Leon Alexander to the class of 2013. He reportedly chose the Bobcats over offers from Ball State, Army, CMU, Miami, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

I like that Fred Reed and Mr. Alexander are good with each other from jump street. Coach Reed has been developing other folk's recruits for many years.  I can not wait to see a secondary that has been his a full four/five years.

I'm "in" on the smarts ... and size! Safeties at 6-2, 195 going into their senior year of HS are sweet ... and when they have offers from Army and Fiami and interest in Northwestern, there's no doubt they got something good going on above the eyebrows.

Upgraded to 3 stars by Scout.com.  It's probably that "Well, he's going to Ohio, we better upgrade him" thing, right? Seriously, it's the time of year when they start looking at some Senior year film, and we should see some upgrades.
