Although I've contributed to the IPF, I continue wondering just how valuable it will become as a recruiting tool. 

Reason for doubt: other schools with IPFs that have not seemingly benefited from having them.

Example with which I am familiar: Kent.  For a good 20 or years it has had an IPF adjacent Dix Stadium.  I've been inside several times, once to watch MAC indoor track championship and on other occasions for meetings during the years (1996-2000) when I served Ohio as Akron-Canton Alumni Chapter president.  I saw no evidence that Kent's football program benefited from its IPF.  Before Hazell led Kent to its spectacular 2012 season, the school had had only one winning campaign in the last 20 or so years.

Over the last 4 seasons, Ohio has gone 36-18.  Should we expect that the IPF will lead to a better than .667 winning pct in seasons to come? 

Should we realistically expect the IPF to bring in more QBs who are the equal to - or better than - TT? 

Will the IPF persuade a few stellar recruiting candidates who prefer urban settings to instead head to Athens?

I'm hoping the IPF will answer those questions in the affirmative, but remain dubious that it will. 

I agree with LongDriver: as far as recruiting goes, the IPF is more going to eliminate something that we're lacking, rather than give us an advantage per se. That being said, I think the value of the IPF is NOT in recruiting, but in both official practice (cold spring practices, wickedly cold late season practice, wickedly hot summer practice), and even more so in the area of independent workouts (e.g. player organized 7-on-7 drills in the dead of winter)
