Very glad the athletic dept finally got with the times and showing the signings as they happen.  For a long time it seemed like we were one of the last schools to give out any information about this.

Also, I notice on the official signings page they are showing 23 slots, so I assume that is the number of signings we should expect today.  That should mean at least 4 more "surprise" signings since we only knew about 18 guys going into today and there has already been 1 surprise already with Basham.  (looks like LC already beat me to the punch)

Update - looks like they are only showing 22 slots now.

I imagine two of those will be the two JUCOs that signed.

I'm thinking that's got to be Durrell Bristol, who was expected to sign. Same school, position and size. Not sure why he different last name.

Same as Durrell Bristol, I think. Unless Groveport Madison has 2 beastly OL named "Durrell".

Buddy, check Ted's link. Bristol/Wood is definitely the same guy. That also explains why I didn't find Bristol getting any post-season honors. Durrell Wood, however, did get named All-OCC Ohio Division, 2d team, and 2d Team all-Central District.

We're still looking for both running backs, plus Alexander, Leavitt, Murdock, Porter, and Cedric Brown. Those are all good ones, and most of them are 3-stars by at least one service, so let's hope they roll in.

I have no way of knowing on that. Some of them, like Cedric Brown seemed like a really solid commit in articles about him, while others, like Porter, seemed to be shopping for another offer. I would guess most of them will come in, and perhaps another surprise or two.

Edit - Now Dorian Brown is in.

And now Leon Alexander is in (as opposed to James), and so are Cedric Brown and Tony Porter. That leaves Leavitt, Murdock, Aloese, and Carson as the only known recruits left to sign. I doubt we see Aloese for awhile - it's a far different time zone in Pago Pago.

Ohiobobcats.com signing page still shows 7 more slots open.  So I'm hoping for some late surprises or maybe a decommit from another team who maybe we saved a slot for, kind of like we did for Lewis last year.

I wonder what ever happened to Lewis? Last I heard his case was to be tried last November, but I never heard if he was acquitted, convicted, or had it postponed, or if there was some sort of deal made.

So as of right now, we're missing Carson, Leavitt, Murdock, and Aloese, right? If those hold, that would put the class at 23 total.

EDIT: Leavitt and Murdock have signed, so we're looking at Carson and Aloese, plus any other surprises.

All three prep school guys are enrolled as students, so I guess they really have been committed to OU for a long time, even though it was not reported. Tautuiaki also is listed in the student database.
