Smallish corners can indeed do the job. One that comes to mind for me is
Pat Fisher of the Redskins, who played in the NFL for 17 years, 213 games, 3 Pro-bowls, had 56 interceptions, and was known for his outstanding tackling skills. He was reported to be 5'8, 170, but I'd be surprised if he was really that big. Even then, Shawn at 5'9 160 is taller, and will be heavier in time. If he grows another inch, he'll be right in the middle range of recent Ohio corners but for now he's the same as Kenny Jackson and Ryan Clark:
Idris Lawrence 5'8 176
Ryan Clark 5-9 167
Kenny Jackson 5-9 168
Devin Bass 5'10 175
TJ Wright - 5'10 176
Julian Posey - 5'10 179
Dion Byrum - 5'10 192
Mark Parson - 5'10 192
Lorenzo Fisher 5'11 170
Ian Wells 5'11 185
Thad Turner 5'11 188
Travis Carrie 6'0 203
