The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that Ohio has offered a scholarship to 2014 CB/WR/RB prospect Pierre Johnson from Pinellas Park (FL) High School. It's the first D-1 offer for the 5-10, 175-pounder.

Large public high school with great athletic facilities. Looks like a great school to develop a pipeline to Ohio athletics.

I count 27 kids with from FL with Ohio offers on the recruiting board. We are trying to hit the state harder this year than ever before. A decent amount of kids are going to have to sign with the Bobcats before the flood gates will open up in the Sunshine State.

Probably missed a few. Please understand the Ohio staff will be careful with long distance recruits. I like this list. Would be nice for Brazil and Scott to promote Ohio while Patterson, Smith and Windham do some good hosting.
