+1. Great kid to take a chance on, my guess is that he will earn a scholarship.

He also showed well in the regional tournament games in the Convo the past two years.  Good family, good addition.....will be a great Bobcat.

Interview with Coach on ohiobobcats.com:  Very pleased with 2013 recruits.  Very, very pleased with 2014 class.

There is a WR named Spencer Schnell who I heard is being brought in during the spring semester. I think he sat out the fall because he's a 2013 grad according to his hudl account:

http://www.hudl.com/athlete/o/264885/spencer-schnell

looks like a little playmaker maybe lacks the elite top end speed, but definitely could help with the intermediate passing game. Any more info on him would be appreciated, I'm coming up empty other than the videos I find.

Here's a Scout.com profile, but it doesn't tell you anything.
Here's an ESPN page, and it claims a 4.86 40 for him.
His 247Sports page  shows that he had interest from Indiana, BG, UMass, NIU, and E.Ill. but got no offers. There is a link there to a different film, probably his Junior year film. His Senior year film is much more impressive.

At 5'8", I don't think this is the really tall receiver Monroe was after, but he should be an interesting addition to Spring camp. We'll see how he works out.

Tall certainly gives an 'up and over' advantage.  But let's not get fixated on attributes; what we need is guys who accomplish.

Now tall and accomplishing--that works.
