here's another player they could look at. Marcus Davis,5'6" 165 lbs, is a RB for Mt. Douglass, the reigning champion of AAA, and was named Player of the Year. After watching this film, I would agree with the recruiting sites that have him listed as a WR, not a RB. His brother Terrell is a Redshirt Freshman RB for Arizona State, but doesn't seem to have played this year. I think Davis will have a lot of adjusting to the speed of football at the FBS level, but as a receiver he'll make the adjustment without too much trouble. A lot of his long runs and kick returns in the film, though, are the result of some very bad tackling, and that won't be happening at the FBS level most of the time.

i got the idea davis junior is going to asu too, but i could be wrong.... being undersized he may not get PAC12 offer. would be great MAC pickup

vancouver sun has tons of bc high school coverage... as i said in other thread, bc high teams beat washington/oregon hs teams all the the time now (way over 50% winning % i think)

diedrick and cornish both led big 12 in rushing recently, both canadian

I had the feeling from reading about him that ASU was interested in Davis, but not ready to offer, and perhaps was hoping he'd walk on.

As for Diedrick, he played for Solich when Solich was the coach at Nebraska.

From what I hear Tyrell Davis who is currently at ASU is leaving for a D2 school as he doesn't play.

wouldn't surprise me on davis... that's the downside of an amazing offer. then u don't play (fairly or not). alot of local high school politics in bottom 3rd of recruiting classes

btw i see the youngerndavis listed at 5'10'so not really undersized
