That ended up going to another school after committing to OHIO due to a coin-flip by an athlete who I think went on to Rutgers? I think this was about four years ago or so. Anybody remember the athlete (linebacker, maybe) we almost had?

Here's a small piece on Ka’Lial Glaud, he narrowed his search down to Rutgers and West Virginia before Rutgers won on a coin flip. I don't see anything about us recruiting him though.

I was thinking that after he ended up at Rutgers, WV took one more player, who came from Ohio's commits, but I looked at the WV signees, and none of those names look familiar.

I remember WVU poached an offensive lineman from St. Ed's from us on signing day a few years ago, but the name escapes me.

Yes, the way I recall it, it was a domino effect. Kid chooses Rutgers over WVU due to the coin flip, WVU has an open scholarship, takes a player who had been with us but was wanting WVU. With it opening up, he fell into WVU's lap at the last moment.

Just a little site searching revealed that Brandon Jackson was the lineman from Ed's, but the linebacker was earlier than that: Taige Redmon.
