I was on my way to work, and after watching the film, had to leave, and didn't have time to read the article. I thought he looked good at DB, with good coverage skills, and capable on run support, so I was thinking that was where he would end up.
...but just because they had an offer doesn't mean the offer still stands. I really don't think someone accepting an offer this late means you're beating out another school. But it could.
My guess is different. I think he isn't listed in the recruiting services at all because he wasn't thinking about playing in college until fairly recently, and I suspect his offers are all recent. Note at the bottom of the article that he hasn't taken the ACT yet. If he had been thinking in terms of college all along he'd have probably taken it at least once already. I don't know the ACT schedule, but at this late date he may only have 1 or 2 chances to take it left.
