I think this is a sound strategy. Since the class will be small anyway, go for the best. The last few classes have had 7-10 3-star players in them, so there is reason to think they could fill this class entirely, or almost entirely with 3-star players (which will make Casper happy

). The class will probably fill a little slower initially, but once the class is about half full, it may fill the rest of the way quite quickly as people take the last few spots. With the last few recruiting classes, Ohio is going to be good for the next few years, so these recruits will be joining a program where the coaching staff is stable, and where they should be able to make it to a bowl every year.
