According to his twitter. I'm assuming University of Ohio is Ohio University.

3 stars from Yahoo- https://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-...

Offer form Georgia State. Tons of interest. This looks like a solid pickup.

Looks like a good find. Wondering why a JC OT at this time?

Eight returning OT's next year (according to the recruiting grid) and 2 in the 2015 class makes 10.

Is someone leaving or possible position changes?

Looks like he spent 2013 at Dean College in Massachusetts.

So, he would have 3 years to play 2, correct?

I agree that it is an odd pickup, given the limited number of scholarships available, and the more apparent needs elsewhere.

Or, perhaps the staff would like to try to redshirt one of the Frosh linemen that played quite a bit this year. I discussed this somewhere else. You win with senior and upper class linemen. It is interesting that this staff has had a lot of skill players go to the league...I do believe it is easier for the skill guys to come in and play immediately. But, not so true with O-line guys?

Besides, the line is where games are won or lost.

I'd still like to see a juco or transfer QB though!

I would suggest this young man is the answer to an issue or issues we are not yet privy. There may be players who have decided to leave or are not succeeding as students. Or maybe, instead of Ohio he is headed to Oregon. ;)

Looks like he committed in October.

But interesting tweet within last 24 hrs, it suggests not a done deal.

I do find it interesting that EMU uses photos of this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpsXeoqgGJM) in their recruitment material.
