He's an interesting athlete. He is tall, at 6'8", 240, and in High School he was a wide receiver (47 catches for 523 yards, 8 TDs), so he must be pretty fast. He also played Center in Basketball, and was team Captain. In 2012-13 he won back to back State Championships in the high jump, clearing 6'10" both years. I doubt many defensive linemen can clear 6'10"...

Ohio also has an offer to Na'Ty Rodgers, an OT from Iowa Western.

Looking at the video it appears to me that he is quick but not terrible strong. On defense, it would seem to me that he might be better fitted for the backfield.

He apparently was a 2013 recruit to SD State, and redshirted during 2013, then transferred to Iowa Western where he played in 2014 as a redshirt Freshman. He only played in 8 games, but averaged 5.8 tackles per game for IWCC, #7 on the team. His 3 sacks were tied for 4th on the team, and his 14 TFL for 72 yards of loss put in 2d on the team.

He didn't play much early in the season, but was really impressive down the stretch. In the last three games, he had 25 tackles, 2 sacks for 29 yards, and 9 TFL for 64 yards.

Rivals reports that he runs a 4.65 40, very fast for a big guy. He's listed as a potential 2016 recruit, so he'd come in with 2 to play 2.
