With the addition of Provitt, the return of Carpenter for a 6th year, and subtraction of Henry, that gets us to 89 players that those of us not in-the-know believe to be on scholarship. Obviously the real number is 85 or less. That means that (at least) 4 of our names is incorrect. That could be due to:
1. Players who will be leaving prior to fall
2. Players that were awarded a scholarship temporarily because one was available, and who no longer have it, but that we listed as a permanent scholarship
3. Players who are not expected to qualify this fall, and who will be no-shows

Sounds like the new (common core) math that my students' parents keep complaining about.

By my count it will be:
Seniors 16
Juniors 18
Sophomores 24
Freshmen 31 (12 Redshirt Freshmen + 19 Incoming Freshmen)

16+18+24+31=85, right?

Also, it's still a very young team, heavy on the underclassmen.
