Seems like a nice get based on his name alone

Hope my initial reaction is off and Hype lives up to the name.

He looks like one of the highest-rated QB recruits we've had in a while. How frequently do we get three-star QBS right out of high school? Duckworth? Jones? Any others?

Looks like a good get, but does anyone know if this name is his original given name or a nickname, or a name he assumed later? Remember when the Coach Lichtenberg's son legally changed his name from whatever it was before (I don't remember) to "Bubba." Football players sometimes do strange things with name changes.

Seems like a fantastic win for us based on his offers, always nice to beat out Toledo especially. Maybe he can hit a growth spurt before enrolling? 5'11" is on the shorter side for a D1 qb. Expecting him to have some good speed.

Not many people are turning down Deion Sanders these days. He had a ton of solid offers despite not playing his senior year, if he was 6'1" he'd probably be elsewhere.

He probably saw what Parker was able to do and jumped at the chance to start as a RS Freshman.

That would be huge if he was able to stay and develop and take the reigns. We haven't had a young guy assert himself as QB1 not named Rourke in many moons.

A 2027 jersey/shersey giveaway with 1K as the # on the back would be elite.

Perhaps Frank Zappa was his God father?

And considering he grew up in LA is there a possibility that Hype is pronounced differently there than here in FlyOverLand?

Welcome Mr. Grand to Bobcat Land.

Hmm . . . I thought his godfather would more likely be someone like Enes Kanter Freedom or World B. Free. You know, a member of the creative name club! :-)
