What a group this looks to be:

S - M. Williams, D. Williams, Hagan
CB - Christian, Howell
LB - Croutch, Taylor, Cloud, Glasco
DT - Colbert, Arp, McKnight
DE - Key, Robbins, Brunson

That's easily the best set of defensive recruits that I've ever seen Ohio land, and a group that should be knocking heads in the MAC for years to come.

On paper, this is (BY FAR) the best class Frank has ever assembled here on one side of the ball.

The 2014 class, on the offensive side, was pretty good, too, on paper:

OL - Pruehs, Lowery, McCray, Langenkamp, Dudziak
RB - Irons, White, [OUellette]
WR - Walker, Brunis, Meyer, (Tyler Jones)
QB - Duckworth
TE - Boland, Kuhar, C. Brown

Of course, there were a few changes from what this list looked like at this point last year. Jones was a no-show, they moved Kuhar to defense, while they added OUellette at RB.

This group not only looked good on paper, but they have looked outstanding on the field as well. In fact, they played 8 of these as true Freshmen.

I tend to think that so many played because the cupboard was pretty bare, but time will tell how good that class was. I think this class has a chance to change our defense for years to come. There are some real studs in this group.

I omitted him because I was working off the list of the 2014 recruiting class, and he was a walkon at this point last year. I'd agree that he should probably get added, so I'll edit him onto the list.

Yes. ;)

Seriously, they listed him as a WR, but he could end up on either side of the ball.

Very true, but while on the field they looked like they have a lot of potential.

I agree completely that this class will affect defense for years to come, but 2014 will impact the offense for years to come, too. Together they could make for some really good teams.
