Rank by offers is starting to have some real data, now, but they have made some huge changes to the scoring system, changes that make it entirely useless for evaluating MAC recruiting. Last year all schools were worth between 60 and 85 points. This year there is little value given to non P5 schools, or lower P5 schools, for that matter.

This year most MAC schools are in the 7-20 range, and they only gave 1 point for a Miami offer and 7 points for an AF or EMU offer. On average a MAC offer is worth about 20% as much as it was worth last year, while top offers are still worth the same, but the effect is very uneven. When you have a system where an Ohio offer is worth 17 points, while a Miami offer is worth 1 point, GIGO applies. (That is, Garbage in, Garbage out). Is Solich better at evaluating talent than Martin? Maybe. Is he 17 times better? Not a chance.

Their ratings for top teams are probably fine, but their ratings for non-P5 teams are now meaningless, so I won't bother linking to it anymore.
