With about a month left to signing day, are we done? Will late guys surprises roll in like they did last year?

Got to go with 4-5. Always seems to be a few. Staff should know real soon who's not coming back if they don't already.

You may well be right. I went with 3, but if Cree is official, we're already at 1.

Numbers:

17 Seniors graduating, no probable medical hardships, plus
2 players transferring that we know of (C. Brunson & C. Brown), equals
19 open spots as of right now.

Figure 2-4 more who don't return.

That gives us somewhere between 21-23 slots.

Ted's list has 14 scholarship commits (assuming the kicker is a walk-on pending the kicker competition). Ted's list doesn't include Miller, the JUCO CB transfer, so that's 15.

Add in the four greyshirts from last year (Luehrman twins, Matt Seymour, and Zervos)...and won't we have a new punter too? So, there's five. And how about Clayton Glasco from last year's recruiting class? And any other preferred walk-ons getting a full ride?

So that takes us to somewhere between 20 and say 22 players to take those slots.

So, I'll say 2 surprises, with Cree being one. And the last spot goes to a.......surprise DT (although another CB transfer would be better, IMO).

Surprised me with Heitzman & Krizancic in 2015. If they can surprise me like that again it would be sweet. However, when did we hear of them, fall was'nt it?

Numbers get a little more clouded if you count in Jeff Christian Jr (from last year's class) who it sounds like might be in Athens for next season.

Also, Mayne Williams from last year's class? Didn't we think he was enrolling in winter also? He had weird issues with paperwork or something like that, right?

Will any of this year's RS JRs graduate and move on or transfer?

Mayne enrolled last fall and is on the roster already. The ones that were missing from last fall:
Deontai Williams - no one seems to know his status, but hopefully he is still coming
Jeff Christian - was apparently at Ohio Dominican this fall, not sure about next year
Demetrius Colbert - enrolled in pre-season but left shortly thereafter. He had some difficulty with paperwork, but did get to Athens, but somehow was a preferred walkon. He left, and per his twitter is currently in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have no idea if he will return
Clayton Glasco - Had eligibility issues, and last fast was at Jireh Prep. May be a part of the 2016 class, I don't know
London Cloud - was a non-qualifier, and enrolled at Toledo as a non-qualifier.

OK, I was confusing Manye Williams with Colbert. Both are from Colerain. Jeff Christian Jr is also from Colerain. It sounds like Colbert may not be returning. Christian had a tweet to Javon Hagan that makes it sound like he will be in Athens next year. https://twitter.com/D1_JC/status/684896757994635264
