Probably the top receiver in Cincinnati and one of the top three in the state this fall. Ohio was either the first or second offer 6'2'' 195 pound Ball. He also has scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, and Kent State. He carries a 4.3 GPA, so he is also receiving attention from Ivy schools.

I might guess that UC is the frontrunner right now. Last year's quarterback at Princeton, Tyrell Gilbert, will be a freshman for the Bearcats this fall. I don't think he was recruited to play QB at UC, but still

Two days ago he tweeted a picture of tons of hand-written letters we've sent him.

Edit: He was also in town for the BG game.

Was scheduled to visit this past weekend. Per the Cincy Enquirer, may also visit WMU. Would be nice if the Bobcats closed the deal before then.

Gotta start a "Book Of Eli"
Ball was Division II second-team all-state, first-team all-district and first-team all-GMC. He rushed for 857 yards and four touchdowns and had 13 receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings.
This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Perhaps the 110 can dust off the Three Dog Night classic the 110 wowed the crowds with in the early 70's, "Eli's Comin..."

And from that picture of the handsome young man a few posts up; hey girls, "You better better hide your hearts!"

Adds a 3-star rating from 247Sports.com (to go with Rivals and Scout.com).

Please. Does anyone have any info about how Mr. Ball is being utilized in practice? 2015 class, no RB, though, Mr. Ball played RB his HS Sr. year. 2016 RB Dontez Rash now having pulled his commitment I wonder might Mr. Ball be given a try at RB?

Ball is far, far better at receiver than RB. He only played RB his senior because Princeton's quarterback play was awful. Putting him at running back was the best way to make sure their best player got touches.
