Can I be enlightened how DB Jarren Hampton fits in scholarship wise after it was announced he's in the fold.

With it happening so late, it could mean an extra scholarship opened up somewhere. Maybe a freshman isn't going to qualify or someone is transferring or someone is done due to injury. Hard to say at this point.

May be he is a walk-on, his previous scholarship offer is from Tiffin. You can usually get a high quality late qualifier at this point.
