I thought Solich had targeted Nebraska for recruiting due to his connections there. But no one from the state was signed?

Also, did we lead the MAC in 5' 11" signees?

No doubt that he still has connections, but with all the state of Ohio commits these days, something has to give. We never had more than 1-2 commits from Nebr. anyway so it's no big deal number wise.

I think that the biggest reason for the lack of offers to Nebraska players, and the lack of Nebraska recruits is that it was a down year for recruiting the state. We used to have a guy that kept us up to date on recruiting in that state who posted under the name of "Go Big Blob", or something, but he hasn't posted in over a year.

I did a search for players from Nebraska, and only seven players from the entire state went to FBS schools, and of those, only two had Ohio offers:
Nebraska - Stille (had Ohio offer), Engelhaupt
Arizona St - Bubak
Iowa - Fant (had Ohio offer)
Kansas St - Lenners
Air Force - McDonald
Wyoming - Rush
