...I do like how high you aim.
That's always the challenge is knowing how high to aim. I like that Ohio offers great players, some of whom end up with 4-5 stars. If Ohio never offers them, they'll never get them, but if they keep offering, eventually they will land the next Cleve Bryant or Todd Snyder. Or, maybe no one will notice that particular player, and they will end up with the next Lavon Brazille or Travis Carrie.
The question is the bottom end. How low do you go? If you don't go low enough, you get no verbals, and come December you have to scramble to fill the class because players that might have accepted if you had offered them early are now no longer available, or no longer interested. If you go too low you fill the class too quickly, and when a great player comes along later you have a hard time finding room for him.
Personally I think they should shoot a little higher each year. Just keep moving the bar up a little at a time, and keep trying to fill the classes with better and better players.
