Ohio coaches saw him and liked him last summer. Your board showed some interest and confusion on his school.
BTW, he finished 2nd in Baltimore, and tossed a 61yd pass coming 3rd in strongest arm contest. The twelve QBs hold 103 scholarship offers.
https://n.rivals.com/news/rivals-qb-challenge-finals-sout...The recruiting board here is only followed by maybe a dozen people this time of year, mostly hard core fans that are looking at the long term health of the program. We're just fans, though, and we see things awhile after they happen. For example, when Alex was offered, it may not have been reported here for a week or two. Similarly, if he accepts, we probably won't hear about it right away. Even when we hear that there has been an acceptance, we are often left guessing who it was that accepted.
We're still hoping for Barker to commit to Ohio. The consensus on the main board is that the only piece to the puzzle to take Ohio to the next level is to recruit a top QB. Ohio has had a solid defense year in and year out, the Offensive line is coming around, and the receivers and running backs are very good. All that is left is for a playmaker to make it go.
I do appreciate your updates, by the way.
