Could Harris have been the surprise recruit everyone was talking about a few weeks back?

Former Purdue and Marshall commit, this is a good one.

I like this commit. These are the kind of kids we need to go get in-state.

6-4 180......in the words of Mr. Burns......"Excellent"

Creston is just south of the Medina County boarder and a number of the kids of my friends have made their homes in the Norwayne school district.

On Facebook I contacted one and asked if Brevin Harris is a favorite of the Norwayne faithful?

She came back on with two different pictures of the uniformed Harris with her two young daughters saying that most definitely he is a fine addition to the Bobcat family.

Interesting that he is staying a Bobcat, (both his HS and soon to be college mascot) I guess he couldn't go wrong!

Here is hoping that a Bobcat QB can accurately get you the ball and often!

I don't think it matters much when you're that big and fast, but to my untrained eye that was some pretty weak competition in some of those clips. My guess is he may have a slight adjustment when it comes to route running, etc., at the DI level, but a lot of others have done it. (I also wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't grow into a tight end.) When you look at his track stats...state qualifier in 200m and long jump, it's a no-brainer...100 time of 11.0. Great pickup!

They do play in a very tough Wayne County League where multiple teams tend to make the playoffs. Team that has won a state championship in the past 5-10 years, tends to play good teams a lot. But yes, they arent seeing the same teams/athletic ability
on his schedule that some see playing in the Akron/Canton/Columbus/Dayton/Cincy area of Ohio

Yes, that's what I meant. No diss to football in that part of Ohio...Solid programs, and the list of impact NCAA DI players to come out of Div. V and VI is long and well documented.

Wasn't disagreeing with you at all, just wanted to point out that some good D1 players do come out of that league. But he sees a very limited amount of skilled kids like himself in the WCL.
