I believe Wells, Sebastian Smith, Poling and Powell could have started. While Smith did not put up great numbers, he has better hands and uses his body very well. This may bring out a mediocre laughter from you and I could care less. You are the guy that is happy when we lose to App State by a field goal. I don't expect you to think that highly of the players.

, Eli Apple was the No. 10 pick in the draft and even better underclass men at that position.

At WR they had a #47 and #85 overall picks

At linebacker they had the #20 pick and #102 overall picks

Your ignorance amazes me. If we have such great talent why are we not winning MACC's on a regular basis? Or even playing for them.

He could have played opposite Eli Wells, Smith could have been the third receiver, he is better than Braxton Miller, Miller has more potential because he is a 4.3 guy, but no way is he as polished as Smith, there are more than two linebackers on the field. Your hate and mediocrity amazes me. Jon Goodwin only started two games for Ohio, he went to Michigan and started immediately and was All-American. There are kids on this team that could play at OSU. You don't even know who there underclassmen are, but for the sake of pride and saving face you threw that in there.

so I guess we will have 4-5 drafted this year, since we have some of the best talent in the nation.

Re Mr. Burrow:

We have two 3-star QB commitments today. That's pretty good. One will probably not show/switch positions/transfer/whatever, but that's alright, because two 3-star QB commitments is more than we've had in the past decade.

Go Bobcats.

I hope he wins the competition. I hope he does well. He would be starting at Ohio right now and he would probably be on his way to an NFL career, hopefully he finds it there. I am glad that he is confident, that should take him a long way.

Miami did it with Big Ben, so why couldn't OHIO

I understand Allen's point. He would probably be farther along on his development at OHIO and on more NFL scouts' radars at this point. However, one good year as a starter at OSU, and he would, of course, be instantly on everyone's radar. But, if that year doesn't come, he could be undiscovered and have to sign as UDFA. His course at OHIO would have been pretty much assured as a starting QB by his sophomore year. At Olentangy Tech, however, he might or might not ever get that starting position. More of an upside if he does; a real big downside if he doesn't.

We don't have a history of developing NFL quarterbacks, he would have been the first QB of his stature and with our running backs, wide receivers, and WR coach, he would have plenty of talent to throw to and showcase his skills. Hopefully, he wins the competition at OSU and shows well. If a QB with NFL ability comes here, he will get drafted because Ohio will allow him to develop. I don't want to keep arguing, I like the QB's we got and I wish Mr. Burrow well.

Amazing that you feel it is your place to second guess an athlete accepting the opportunity to compete at his sports highest level under the tutelage of Urban Meyer. Just amazing.

Not beating my own chest about anything. Calling you out, yes.

You see yourself to be amazing for second guessing an athlete accepting the opportunity to compete at his sports highest level under the tutelage of Urban Meyer. Extreme self-aggrandizement beyond anything I have seen. Don't break your arm patting yourself on your back.

I thought that you believed in Solich. This is a Bobcat sight not a Buckeye sight. I want to beat Ohio State, not be their little brother. Urban Meyer used to coach in the MAC, Solich coached in a National Championship game. Why does Urban deserve to get our coaches son. The kid made a decision and I am sure he is happy. I just wish he came here. I am happy with the new guys coming in so it is a moot point.

The point is, it is the young man's decision to make. The young man deserves to accept the opportunity to compete at his sports highest level under the tutelage of Urban Meyer without being second guessed by couch couches. Young Mr. Burrow chose to compete against the toughest competition. I can respect that. Your perspective, not so much.

I am glad you feel that way, don't contradict yourself. You were all in on Solich, now we were not even Burrow's second choice. Who is the couch coach? Who is the one that has so much fake inside information? Who can't control their emotions? I have not stoned the kid, I questioned his decision with rational thought and you felt threatened and attacked. Get control of yourself. Take the proverbial chill pill.

I defended my position. If he came to Ohio, he would be playing, he would be a leader and would be on the NFL radar right now. He may not play until his senior year if Barrett plays all four years. He may not play period if the number 1 rated QB in the nation beats him out the following year. I hope he plays and gets everything that he wants out of the game. I truly wish him well. That was my point, you shared some great information and the staff at OSU thinks he could be the guy. Assuming barrett leaves next year, he should have two years at a top flight university to prove his worth. He could have built his own legacy here, but he chose to hopefully add to OSU's legacy. You can cry when we disagree, anything is possible.

Side Bar
I thought you had more faith in Ohio and Solich, I thought you believed we were in our golden years.
