Committed per his Twitter profile and RT'd by the staff.

Interesting back story. Held back at a young age and is now 19. Had to apply for a special waiver to be eligible to play this year. Missed all of last year with an ACL tear. Was working to graduate a year early as he expected 2016 to be his final year of eligibility in HS. Maybe a candidate for an early enrollee.

Unfortunately with his injury game tape is 2 years old and no ratings. Did hold other offers CMU, FAU, and Georgia Southern.

Film shows he is aggressive on special teams and seems to have great speed.
Is he a possibility to play early on special teams and work his way into the WR group?

I am little miffed at this one. There are plenty of wide receivers that are producing and he is coming off of an average year and then a major knee injury. We will see how it turns out.

I don't get this one, either, but that doesn't mean he's not going to turn out to be a great recruit. It always seems that they mystery guys turn out the best. You don't even have to look back that far. Last year, for example, they recruited some stud offensive linemen, then late, they stole another lineman away from Missouri State. Which one is now starting? One of the 3-star guys? Nope, the guy that nearly ended up in FCS, Meservy.

Gouin may be good or may not work out well. We'll just have to wait and see.

he seems to have pretty decent hands, not exactly break away speed. perhaps a possession receiver or maybe even a switch to tight end?

So both OUr new WRs are enrolling early.

Good news for a WR corps that starts out with Papi and Ball and Meyer. Add some guys who played last year like Seymour and Knock plus injury guys Tupa and Cherry and you’ve got a nice group.

Papi, Ball, Meyer and Odom are a VERY GOOD group alone. If you toss in another wildcard we have our deepest receiving corp. in quite some time.
