Im kind of speechless. We are getting some under the radar athletes that can really play. How would everyone rank the 3 LBs we just signed!

My sentiments exactly.

These 3 are instinctive and will hit you.

Give us some space eaters that engage the OL and its QB and RB beware.

This will be a decent size class so I look for verbals to pick up. Lots of DLs left. I had Thompson on my original list but took him off when it looked like a Florida LB was going to verbal. If he does that's ok...nothing wrong with another Florida player.

I'm started to get a tad excited about this class.

Our linebacker depth is looking solid! Another great verbal! Tremendous pursuit, good lateral agility, locates the football well! I love guys who are hard to fool. Collins knows what he's doing.

How much does a kid's HS program keep him under the radar? You would be hard pressed in Ohio to find a school of the same size to have a worse composite record over the past 20 years than Barberton.

A program like that would have coaches coming and going and no way for the colleges to develop a worthy relationship with the school. A college program probably finds a kid like this by recruiting an opponent and someone notices the potential where as the big programs are not recruiting the opponent and never come across the Gold.

Thats how my recruiting started. Although my high school is in the top 25 all-time wins....we struggled a few years before junior and senior year. I got interested from Arkansas, Kentucky and Cincy based off a game against Montrell Jones of Louisville Male (KY powerhouse team). Playing well against them earned extra scholarships and camps. So yea if he played on bad team and he shows out.....there will be some buzz about the kid.
