Many of us despise the mid-week games, but how much has this helped OUr recruiting?
Having guys like OUlette getting ESPN Top Ten exposure also can’t hurt.
Just wondering what everyone thought.
Is it good to win and have recruits eager to join a winning program or do you have guys out there who want to play early?

With the latest verbal that would be 12 3-star prospects, 3 2-star prospects, and 1 unranked (Oakes) using 247sports for this class. I don't have the data handy but I'd say that's the highest % of 3-star recruits we've ever had and possibly highest number total or close to it. Will be interesting to see how this class rounds out.
As we've seen before the ratings don't mean a whole lot but I'm sure some will see this as good sign for this class specifically.
TV Exposure may help us recruit outside the region, but I don't necessarily think it's greatly increased the quality of recruits, perhaps just allows us to cast a wider net. If it did produce better recruits the MAC would be closing the gap on the P-5 and that doesn't seem to be happening.

Not sure about TV but the midweek game allowed for a ton of 2020 kids to be there last night.

There were literally dozens of recruits at Walter Hall last night. Unfortunately they saw a crowd smaller than a Spring Game.
