5'9", 170lbs Jake Rogers, 2nd team Div-II all-Ohio as a junior. Highland High School, Medina, OH.
Considered the greatest punt returner in Medina county history. Teams simply have stopped punting to him. After returning the kickoff 83 yards for a TD last night, the opposing coach decided to kick it OB instead of letting Rogers get near it after the opponent had taken the lead. Rogers at running back also went for 251 yards on 26 carries in this game vs N.Royalton.
Goes north and south and floats on the field like a water bug and has an extra gear. Very good hands out of the backfield too.
Looks to be a tough and strong kid, wish I knew his 40 time.
Browns fans, remember Dino Hall?

I ran into Jake at tonight's Euclid vs St. Ed's playoff game.
I asked him if he was now gearing up for basketball. He said, "I am not playing this year. I am graduating early, Bowling Green has offered me."
Keep an eye out for him when the Cats meet the Falcons. Will he be a return specialist or does he have a little Papi in him?
