The banner of his Twitter profile appears to be an official graphic saying he committed. No other mention of it though.

So, his stats from last year are: 31 TD, 5 INT, 2450 yds, 65% completion rate. Rushed for 203 yards and 5 TD as well.

Was league MVP as well, all according to video on Hudl. What was really interesting is that he played CFL field dimensions, so a 110 yard field with the larger endzones. I'm not sure what that means in terms of his stats and whether they may be inflated (in terms of yards) or deflated (in terms of needing a longer field to score).

I was wondering if we would try to sign a QB this year. Seems like we have a pretty good stable of them already.

With Rourke 2.0 and just losing Moore (LB) 2.0, I wonder if there is another Rourke or Moore to break the tie? Anyone else know of other brother combos or grandfather, son, grandson combos in Ohio football history?

Well, the Mangens have 3. Brothers Doug and Mike. And of course, Mike's son, Troy.

The Mangers were unique with 3, but I'm sure there are many, many pairs. Some recent ones include the Motley twins, the Leuhrman twins, Curtis and Jordan Meyers, and the Leftwich twins.

Good One re the Mangens! that is an example of something where when someone brings something up and i feel like, DUH! I was so happy to see the latest Mangen get a shot with Atlanta. If the offense is going to miss some folks, the two TEs are a big part of the discussion along with some others. The blocking we got out of Mangen and Morgan cannot be understated. Key parts to our success last year! (and Pruehs, who is an all-time Ohio candidate)

Dak and Adam Notestine.

I asked before if they were related, and was told no.

Really? Hunh. I just assumed they were.

Among brothers who played for Ohio are Dave and
Mike Green (1972 and 1976, respectively) who were both graduated from Athens HS, both were punters, and both played in the NFL.

Good one. Per Wiki (an unimpeachable source), Dave was a 17th round pick and made 5 seasons in the NFL-impressive. I just found out one recently: Phil (Dad) and Michael Massinople-michael currently on the roster. Phil earned three letters for Ohio from 1981-83 under coach Brian Burke.

Here is a list I found on the Ohio site of past letter winners which is very cool although it looks like it needs updated for recent players. There are several folks with the same last name but it is hard to suspect a relation if your last name is,say, Smith. No multiple entries for last names for folks like Nwokocha, who you might more readily suspect to be related if there were multiple last names. Thanks to all who played for Ohio: name on the list or not.

Is he considered to have more potential than his brother?

Looks like his school lost in playoff semifinals. He posted senior highlights on his Hudl stated he threw for 25 TDS and 2 INTs. He looks bigger than Nathan...listed at 6’4”. Man I have a hard time with Canadian HS highlights, though..looks similar to Ohio DV.

Because it is very similar and on most cases not as good as OHIO DV football. Last year Canadian teams went something like 2 and 79 v. OHIO opponents. I have yet to see a canadian win in the books this year, not saying there is not one, but I've yet to find it.
