It would seem that there are no regional camps in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland anymore. Those were always great boons for recruiting.

That’s because Sattalite camps are illegal now. You can thank Mr Harbaugh for that.

Yep, funny no one cared what Harbaugh was doing until he set up camp in Saban’s Back yard.

That was what I was wondering.

That's going to make it harder for Ohio to recruit SW and NE Ohio. It's a shame they couldn't come up with a rule permitting 1-2 off-campus camps, so long as they were in-state. That would have been good for the kids, but not allowed crazy, across the country camps.

With the regional camps gone, we seem to be back where we were before them, with less early commits, and we may see scrambling in December and January to fill the class. We may also see less Ohio players, and more from around the country.
