1st Commit of the class. Looks like it was made official a few days ago on his twitter profile. He doesn't have any kind of profile on the usual recruiting services.

Papi 2.0. Wow he is physical on both sides of the ball. He's like Hines Ward as a receiver and Quentin Jammer as a DB. I say WR because he will open up running lanes. Then again, Burrows will want a physical corner like this. If he plays receiver he might not have a draftable grade. If he continues to get better and plays DB, he might have a draft grade.

He can definitely play on both sides of the ball. I see him at Safety, but I'm guessing that Dixon wants him at WR.

Looks like a prototypical free safety to me. But I do love big corners...

I like recievers who also played defense in high school. His use of his hands helps him in his release. I think he could maybe play safety also. I'm betting they want him on offense though. The comparison to Hines Ward is exactly what I was thinking.

The flip-side is true, too. I like DBs that also played receiver in high school. I want a DB that, when the ball is in the air, wants to go up and take it away.

You're right, he's shown he has the ability to do both. I'm eager to see where they use him. Until then, I'm satisfied by his early verbal. But physical recievers like this young man can really get into the heads of db's. I think he could be very effective on offense.

I know OUr wide receiver coach likes WRs that can block....helps open up that running game.

So does the head coach. I've heard him talk about that on more than one occasion.

No offense to Mr Gates but I’m being selfish in hopes that we get him still because UF doesn’t offer WRs that run 11.4 in the 100m..

Interestingly, it looks like from his twitter page that he will be at homecoming this weekend in Athens. Hopefully the crowd and environment (along with the campus) motivates him to once again commit to our fine university.

We have an AMAZING record in getting kids to Commit and sign after they have come on visits. Coach told me a few years back it was literally at 80%
