Another very nice addition. This is going to be the best class yet.

I couldn't agree more with you guys. If only we had Tettleton next year, we could make some serious noise.

While I don't know which QB will rise to the top over the next few years, I have no doubt that there is some talent there, and the one that ends up starting will be the best of a good lot. The future looks bright.

I know it was an fcs game, but Derrius Vick looks capable and Joey Duckworth has the size of a bcs QB and a three star ranking, which TT didn't have. Doesn't necessarily mean a thing, but I have high hopes

Exactly. We know Vick can play. If Duckworth, Windham, Sprague, or some other QB to be named later is able to beat him out, it just means they are even better.

Who was that guy at QB when we beat Penn State, and Marshall last year?  I am sure he is capable of the same
against everyone on our schedule this year. Give me a healthy TT and a healthy team and I like our chances against anyone.

The question was whether Ohio will be any good after he is gone. I think they will continue to improve. Others are concerned about QB.

Nice get. Tallmadge is a good program.

This program doesn't die after Tettleton. Vick is legit.

Lowery, who plans to major in nursing at OU, started last season for Tallmadge at right tackle. He is set to start at left tackle this season, but is currently recovering from an off-season injury.

Tallmadge made the playoffs last season, its eighth appearance in the past nine seasons.

How many have our coaches stayed in on who had high school injuries? Travis Carrie for one, .......???

Mario Dovell is another. On the other hand there have been cases where it hasn't worked out, too, such as Brian Sweeney, who as I understand it never really recovered from his injury.

Heading off to see him vs my alma mater on Homecoming Friday.   Scouting report to follow.

I'm sorry; I didn't pay much attention to watching the recruit.  I know his man never seemed to get close to the QB but the rushers were dwarfed by him--no stud to defensive stud to worry about.  His legs looked like sticks, a tall and lean young man.  No doubt a first year weight table/weight room project.  Looked pretty quick for a tall guy.  Got down the field on one screen pass where the receiver got on his hip and crused behind him till getting forced out of bounds.

His team did not run a huge amount of plays his way.  He may have straightened up more than you'd like to see.  His team got whipped pretty good tonight.

Probably the type of size and speed that can be developed into a fine MAC player if he has the drive and desire to continue to work on what the OHIO coaches push at him.
