I recall reading somewhere that there's a growing industry in Australia where soccer players are converted to American football punting. The goal being a college football scholarship to a USA university. Might Wilson be a product of such a thing?

Also, I notice how the Australian scholarship recipient is "stoked" where the American is "blessed".
