How did the red chickens drop this ball? He is an 80 overall (3-star). Best PWO ever by rank??

It says OLB, but he's 6-2, 235. In the film, he's playing a lot up on the line. I can seem him growing into an excellent DE, one that can drop back into pass coverage at times, too.

Amos is sized like this guy and showed this year that with his strength that he could be a very good defensive lineman. Ogun-Semore is 6-5 so he had more height but weight-wise they are similar. Great athleticism on our line!

can someone elaborate on these measurables - I know what they are - looking for perspective

Height & Weight: 6'2" 225lbs

40 Yard Dash: 4.8
Shuttle: 4.44
Vertical: 31
Bench: 275
100 Meter Dash: 11.7
Squat(LBS): 475
Deadlift(LBS): 505

First Team Div. 1 All-state - did everyone just miss on this kid?

40 Yard Dash: 4.8 (Needs to get to a 4.6)

Shuttle: 4.44 (Slightly above avg - redirect drill)

Vertical: 31 (Passes will zip right over him....should work to get a 38 for position)

Bench: 275 (will need to improve for his position)

100 Meter Dash: 11.7 (Long speed drill- needs to improve to chase down a long sideline pass or run)

Squat(LBS): 475 (not bad...will be over 5 in a redshirt yr)

Deadlift(LBS): 505 (not bad...will improve )

Regardless of vertical or 40...he is a blitzer and can close down on plays. Blitz him behind Denzel Daxon and u have chaos.

*Would like to see his 10 yard run. Then you can compare to his 40 to see if he is explosive off the ball or if he gains speed over time.

Was on Ohio State's radar for a few years looks like we got a STEAL if it holds up!! That 40 looks off compared to his film and it says he was timed at 4.67 in a few articles but he closes on the ball and QB in a blink love how he uses his hands with power or finesse.
Me thinks Denzel and Dez will be monsters eventually.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we lost him by signing day, but we got Daxon to sign so you never know.

Looks like you nailed it. The weaknesses you pointed out really showed. Wonder where he'll end up.

Apparently he didn't win a Scholarship, so it's time to move. There is often turnover among the preferred walkons. You can't blame them, since college is expensive.

Was hoping he met the measurements I posted because his initial burst is great. But in the long run, he would wear down over the course of the game. Vertical is too low and passes would get behind him in the MAC and side to side runs.....the runner would eventually break after a few quarters. I wish him the best and hopefully those numbers get better.

DE seems to be one of OUr areas of need so this is a hit but hopefully not a big one.

By the next signing day we should have a HS player or JUCO.
