I like this commits athleticism and vision. Runs upright but that can be worked on. Just one of several talented backs coming in. Bit of a relief after being so thin last year.

He had offers from Army, Navy, and Kent, plus Elon and Delaware. 5'10", 195, same size as OUellette. His HUDL can be found here:

He's definitely a player.

Interestingly, they hadn't gotten many players from PA since Germano left, and now that he's back, we're seeing some again. That's a good thing, though, as Ohio got some pretty good players from the area before.

I second that. My younger brother played his prep football at Wyoming Seminary before heading to the Naval Academy. I remember being impressed by the caliber of athlete there. I don't like seeing too wide of a net cast by coaches in regards to recruiting because it's harder for them to focus on the recruits in the regions or states they are established in, but Pennsylvania is definitely worth the effort I think.

I think that previously they recruited just one part of Pennsylvania, the WPIAL. Malvern is just about as far from there as you can get and still be in Pennsylvania.

Just a historical note, probably of limited usefulness, but western Pennsylvania was an area that Bill Hess recruited in heavily. His success there was probably part of the reason that he was offered the Pitt job -- but turned it down.

I can't decide if he looks taller than 5-10, or lighter than 195. I'd be curious to know his weight room numbers.

(Also, anyone else get a Rickey Watters vibe from his running style?)

Anyone out there but me see some similarities between Allison as a running back Maurice Clarett when he was a freshman at Ohio State?

Both are/were not exceptionally fast as freshman (or Clarett ever) but run with patience, vision, agility, and power.

Allison is not as big but when I watch him it reminds me of Clarett as a freshman.

Let’s hope his deportment in college is better that Clarett’s! But one must acknowledge that Clarett has turned his life around after his stint behind bars. He is now a very solid and productive citizen.
