Ohio gets its first verbal commitment to the 2021 class from Washington (DC) St. John's HS TE Bryce Butler. Butler chose Ohio over offers from Appalachian St., Arkansas, Akron, Buffalo, UConn, East Carolina, Kansas, Kent St., Toledo and Liberty.

Friggin finally. I've been tired of seeing Miami get 15 verbals before summer compared to our none.

I wouldn't be surprised if he plays somewhat early as he appears to be in a sophisticated offense. His hudl highlights show him split out wide, running routes and blocking next to lineman, and even in the backfield as an H-back.
