The WR from Good Counsel looks like a great get. Had offers from ECU, Buffalo, Fla. Intl and heard an Ivy school.

Slightly concerned that at this point we only have 7 total commits while most of the MAC (except for BG, EMU, Akron) have 11 or more verbals. Maybe this is normal for early August? but it just seems like we are behind compared to the rest of the MAC.

During the Army-Cincy game on Saturday ESPN discussed how Luke Fickell has recruited more heavily in Ohio. I think they said there were about 15 Ohio players on the roster when he came onboard there three years ago. Now there's close to 80. There are a lot from the Cincy area, but he has nearly as many from the Columbus area and Northeast Ohio. He's picking up a lot of players that O$U might've gotten a few years ago when he was there and has turned UC into a major competitor for Ohio talent.

Luke runs the state right now. Sure OSU will get their guys but he gets everyone else. His recruiting is impressive to say the least.

Will the class remain small? And if so, is it because there is expected to be some players returning with an extra year of eligibility who wouldn't if not for the pandemic?

More are expected to sign in February. And, by then, coaches will have a solid feel for who might be returning.

Hopefully signing more in February will ramp up the excitement level. Currently it’s rather low.

No doubt 2020 has destroyed any chance of decent coverage, but this year’s coverage is about a D minus.

Is Frank not allowed to talk about the recruits individually?

A better page with all the videos would be nice....maybe they’ll end up on You Tube.

I know we only had about 14 signings but seriously...in the MAC we only recruited better than Akron and Kent and we are in the 100s overall. We better have the greatest coaching staff ever because the recruiting seems worse than usual this year.
