I nominate for "Condescending Comment of the Year":
...Ohio announced the signing of Williams, a three-star prospect. That would indicate there was an issue with getting qualified academically.
So, only people with academic issues sign with Ohio?
Ohio69's cynical analogy is this: Every year Lucy holds out the ball, and Charlie Brown optimistically tries to kick it. He's saying that every year Ohio announces signing some great player, and we rush to embrace them, only to be disappointed when Lucy pulls the ball away, er, he fails to qualify. In the anology, I personally would much rather play the part of Charlie Brown than play the part of Lucy, so I'll join you Doc.
Yes, some good players who have been signed have failed to qualify. Others have qualified. We'll just have to wait and see on that, in the meantime, the DBs in this class appear to be outstanding, and Deontai is clearly a great player, rated in the ESPN Top 300. Welcome to Ohio, Deontai!
