Starter.

A Cox type receiver.

Could be gem of the class.

He had 31 catches for 494 yards in eight games this past season for Rice, including a pair of 100-yard games, as redshirt sophomore, actually in his fourth season because of COVID. Contributed 17 catches for 144 yards as a redshirt freshman and then had just one catch for a TD before an injury during the COVID year. Definitely sounds like an impact player for Ohio.

I'll take your word for it, Doc, as I respect your ability to analyze recruits. However, my first reaction was what good can come out of a transfer from Rice.

Yeah kinda like getting a transfer from Slippery Rock.

I thought the same thing until I watched some videos against teams like Arkansas. Not sure how we got him but it is obvious that networking is working…..the two Fiami coaches…the Louisiana 300+ decommit from Tulane…..and this guy.

Not sure why OUr offense sucked last year….this kid and the rookie Harris could change that.

Oh and by the way I’m watching vids like him against Arkansas and he’s making their CBS look really bad.

Keep feeding me the Green Koolaide, Doc. This guy does sound real intriguing. Second coming of LaVon Brazill?

Well, he was the 3rd leading receiver on a 4-8 C-USA team but had almost 90 more yards then any Bobcat WR last year...so there's that.

I think he's an easy plug and play considering the departures of Odom and Cox.

Idk but he's in school because Coach Dixon liked his posting of a class assignment. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Maybe a Summer/Fall addition. I think he'll be okay against MAC secondaries.

Thanks.

Yes he looks like a handful with a 43 inch vertical.

If so, no big loss. I revert to my initial comment — can any good come out of a transfer from Rice? Doc had me convinced otherwise, but now that he’s gong FCS, and not to one of the FCS powers, I think my gut was right.

Who knows who is right in this era or the transfer portal? Until you see them on the field and how they translate it’s all guess work. All I can suggest is that based on the lack of coverage and the player movement I would purchase a program.
