I wonder who his coach will be. Lots of smoke about their head coach.

Personally, I think we're better off going after JUCO OL. Experience means a lot. When was the last time that a true Freshman got significant playing time?

Best of luck to Brandon.

The last one I recall was Hagan Meservy, who was a starter as a true Freshman.

Who was the last really good JUCO offensive lineman Ohio had? I got nothing. Transfers have contributed but JUCO? Ohio needs to get longer. Props to this group but you have a kid from Notre Dame College, a guard playing left tackle, Titsworth who has had an amazing career here (Ohio recruit), Atkinson who was recruited and developed and Dennsion who transferred in. BTW, he's a beast.

I don't recall many successes in recruiting OL from JUCO, but back in 2015, Ohio got two of them who became starters, Joshua Cooper (Mississippi Delta) and Joe Anderson (El Camino). There may be others, but I don't recall them.

Sorry, i guess I meant to say just OL transfers and not specifically JUCO. My bad.

Yes. This early signing day is weird given the coaching carousel, but have to remember it’s all non-binding now. In fact, some of these WVU guys have announced they will sign their letter of intent on Wednesday even though they have re-opened their recruitment. Not sure how it works—if they have to enter portal or not. Either way, it’s weird. Can’t imagine being a fan and being excited on signing day knowing a lot of the class is still actively looking elsewhere or may not even figure into the plans of a new staff.

Maybe he'll recommit to OHIO. Stranger things have happened.

Country roads took him to the portal after one year.
