I have no conceptual problem with the MAC promoting the Jolly Roger flag concept...but only if you’re waving it after victories over (good) major conference teams. Going all social media crazy with the pirate flag after beating an FCS team really just implies that you consider yourself the underdog against the FCS team...which, while probably accurate in a few cases, isn’t really the message that they’re trying to send with this campaign.

We also received two separate mailings with flags. My experience with the membership card is similar - the wife's name is never on the card. It's not a huge deal but she is convinced I am not including her name on the donation.
