When you can't run the ball, I do believe your mindset should be to throw with the intent of scoring more points in the second half. An eleven-point lead against a good team on the road really isn't enough IF you aren't able to run the ball to run out the clock. Especially if your defense was on the field for nearly the entire first quarter, which tends to lead to wear downs in the final quarter.
Just saying....

I thought I was the only one that saw that. Our defense was on the field due to the turnovers. We were so quick to point out the mishaps of the defense, but nobody pointed out the fact that they were continuously on the field due to turnovers. We are quick to put them down when they are bad, but nobody jumped on here last week when they stopped the drive on the final play and stopped the field goal on the final drI’ve. Smh

Kent scored 6 on Miami yesterday. I'll withhold the backpatting for our defense.

Quit making sense. That's not a fair comparison.
Miami and Kent haven't had a coaching staff together for 14 yrs.

OK I admit I shouldn't take this bait, but I will chime in anyway. Anyone who is an alum or fan of Ohio and enjoys the Bobcats is bummed out about the season thus far. They are so close to being 5-1 and most of us would be thrilled about that record. Close doesn't count. If I am accurate about Vegas Odds they will be underdogs at Western and at Miami. The Buffalo game in a month will be a pickem or Ohio depending on the results the next few weeks, will be an underdog in that game also. The Bobcats need to find a way to minimize the turnovers and to control the line of scrimmage or they will end up .500 or less. Many fans are giving up on this team, but there is not a team on their remaining schedule that Ohio can't beat. Having said that if Ohio doesn't play a complete game, they could lose to any team left on their schedule. Many fans of Ohio whether it be in basketball, soccer, wrestling, volleyball, or whatever sport, hope for the best for every team. These athletes compete to the best of their ability, but the results don't always end up like Bobcat fans want. I'm sure the volleyball, basketball, soccer and other teams would love to be undefeated every year, but that isn't happening. Go Bobcats and hopefully the wins will start coming for all Ohio teams!

Looking at it objectively, Ohio is just a close to being 1-5 as it is 5-1.
