Fan means fanatic. I am certainly not a fanatic. I can enjoy a game once in a while, win or lose.

Hmmm...I sat through the deluge during the Utah State game. I waited out the thunderstorm interruption on a cold and windy day at Kent to be among the few who saw Ohio clinch a division title. Do those qualify me?

I remember that Kent game in 06. Worst weather for a game I have ever been at. The game was also one of the most fun also. Kent's fans all left after the 3rd quarter delay and we took over their seats behind the team. That was a great day.

Fact. Ohio hasn't won a MACC in 50 years.

Fact. Ohio has struggled defensively this season ... mightily.

Fact. Ohio blew that game at UC.
Jim Halpert: [Jim sits at his desk, dressed like Dwight] Question, what kind of bear is best?

Dwight Schrute: That's a ridiculous question.

Jim Halpert: False. Black bear.

Dwight Schrute: Well, that's debatable. There are basically two schools of thought.

Jim Halpert: FACT, bears eat beets. Bears, beets, "Battlestar Galactica."

Dwight Schrute: Bears do not... What is going on? What are you doing?
Missed this earlier ... classic Office episode! Jim dressed like Dwight ... hilarious!

If you are upset, complain, whine, etc., at least it means you aren't apathetic.

Can some people take this too far...of course.

I would rather have fans that complain than didn't say anything at all. I remember the days of sitting in Peden after halftime with a few dozen students from 90-95.

As far as me....I have an aquarium from the Pub in my freezer. I have the Bobcat paw tattoo on my ankle. I once sprinted up Jeff Hill just for the hell of it. On the last day before I die, I want all of my meals to come from every buggy at Court and Union. I care enough to complain.

Seems like a self-fulfilling wish ;)
