Checking to find out if anyone knows whether Ohio has any more football games that will air solely on ESPN+? I signed up for the free month to get the Howard game. I have until October 2 to cancel before being charged $4.95 per month...

I think next week's game at Kent is the only one for sure. As I recall some of the November games have ESPN+ as an option if the game doesn't have MACCG implications.

The game on the 13th against Northern Illinois still is listed as ESPN Network, which means it could be EPSN+ (or the free ESPN3). Bowling Green is listed as ESPN3.

The rest of the schedule is listed specifically as being either ESPN2, ESPNU or CBS Sports Network. The finale against Akron says it could be ESPN3.

If the schedule is accurate, this game against Kent State will be ESPN+ and the last one that could be is the very next one against Northern Illinois, but that hasn't been determined.

I'm glad you typed that and I read that! When I saw the NIU game listed as "ESPNN" I just thought it was going to air on "ESPN News." LOL.

Anyone know how you watch this on your smart tv or playstation? I can't find it as an app.

I think you have to cast it from a phone or computer.

According to ohiobobcats.com the Northern Illinois game is ESPN+.

ESPN+ is really glitchy on my Roku. Kept asking me to activate it on my laptop or phone and then I entered the code, it went back to the screen asking me to activate it on my laptop or phone. Ugh! Wound up just plugging my laptop into the HDMI port. Cancelled my free sript. I'll be out of town next weekend anyway. Maybe I'll catch it on SiriusXM.

Yesterday I had trouble logging in. It kept wanting me to set up an account for a free seven-day trial, and when I tried that it told me I already had an account (which I do) but kept sending me back to the free trial. I was finally able to log in after three or four tries.

I thought NIU's production was so-so. The announcers were homies (which is not unexpected) but the director wasn't paying attention to what was happening on the field. About a half-dozen times they were running a replay of the previous play and missed a live play on the field. And it looked like they had only one camera high up (at the 50) instead of the usual three (at the 50 and the 25s). Angles were terrible.

I had a similar problem. I think you can only watch the games on espn.com. If you go to espn plus it will just ask you to subscribe. If you watch it on espn and log in with the same username and password you did with espn plus it will give you access to those games from there. It’s confusing.

Free live youtube stream of OHIO vs BGSU soccer today was excellent, wish it could be so easy for all sports. Cats fell 3-1 to Falcons who are 8-0 in MAC.
