I’m on the road and was hoping to watch this game on my Roku Streaming Stick. I knew that through it I had access to CBS Sports. However, when I connected it up to the hotel TV and went to CBS Sports what I saw was something new (and inferior) called CBS Sports HQ. It was basically a talking head station with a bunch of bozos giving their predictions on tonight’s games and on the so-called College Football Playoff, which in IMHO is a total farce since UCF is the obvious uncrowned national champion last year. Ok, sorry for the diversion. My question is what the heck is the CBS Sports HQ, and where did my regular CBS Sports go? It used to be on Roku.

I was able to watch the game at a local sports bar here in Hagerstown, Md., but it would have been nicer to watch it in my room, especially during the second half. We could have walked back at halftime and watched the second half in our room. The sports bar was just about a half-mile from the hotel and in easy walking distance.

I was annoyed by that too. However, i did watch the game on my laptop, via the CBS sports website (i don’t remember the exact address). It was a very good broadcast, much higher quality than what i get with watchespn.com. No buffering, no stuttering, etc.

Oh my! Hagerstown! The Hub City! Dare I ask where you watched? I called H-town home for almost 4 years. Many fond memories

We went to Primanti Brothers. Yes, I like Hagerstown at lot too. If it wasn’t for the need for a sports bar to watch the game, we would have gone to Schmankerl Stube, the best German restaurant this side of Bavaria! We pass through here a lot on our way to Delaware. This time, though, we are going to a wedding in Cape May, N.J., then to Delware, and then to Destoyer Leader Association reunion in VA. Beach/Norfolk. Will be home in time for the next home game!

Enjoy Cape May! Spent a week in Sea Isle City this summer.

Hagerstown has changed a ton in the 17 years since I lived there. Definitely a few hidden gems
